Why did it take a grownup company like Honda so long to prepare to be about to deliver, maybe, this supercar? It’s been what - 5 or 6 years?

I’m seriously not impressed. 560hp was the norm back in 2011. Now it is not.
Even the tech is not impressing me. How much power does the engine make when the electric motors are out of juice?
I better see the NSX’s power output jump soon to keep up with Ferrari’s 488 and Lamborghini’s Huracan. Ferrari has already future proofed their 488 with a 660hp output and Lamborghini will consistently deliver power upgrades with new trims of the Huracan getting 20-30hp boosts every couple of years.

As you’ll recall, the first NSX wasn’t a very powerful car in it’s day either - the key was handling and stiffness. Ayrton Senna consulted, and he made them take it back to the drawing board and stiffen it.
